In Different Languages, How Could ChatGPT be Made to Write Like a Human?

In one of our previous posts, we shared how we can use ChatGPT to create content and humanize.

However, that post was about generating content in English.

A tool like ChatGPT is capable of writing in over 80+ different languages. And many online businesses require content in different languages for local marketing campaigns.

In this case, can we use ChatGPT to generate content in different languages? If so, then how? And how do we ensure the content is human-like?

This piece of content will answer these questions, so keep reading.

Can We Use ChatGPT to Write Content in Different Languages?

Yes, we can use ChatGPT to write content in different languages.

And no, ChatGPT is not swinging it. The model is fully capable of writing in at least 80 languages, which includes some of the toughest languages in the world, such as Mandarin Chinese and Arabic.

For instance, I asked ChatGPT to write me a small essay on “communication” in Arabic. Here’s the response:

The poem doesn’t seem to have any grammatical errors. I used Google Translate to translate it into English.

Similarly, you can utilize ChatGPT to write in any language you want as long as the model supports it.

Steps to using ChatGPT to Write in a Different Language

Although using ChatGPT is not difficult, learning how to use it properly can help you use its capabilities to its max potential.

The following steps will guide you to writing content using ChatGPT in a different language.

1. Familiarize yourself with chatgpt

First thing first.

Familiarize yourself with the interface and the working of ChatGPT. This is important because you want to work with the tool—and not fiddle with it.

A few important things you need to know is the prompt bar of ChatGPT, it’s where you can type your prompt.

The latest version of ChatGPT allows you to upload different documents such as Google Docs, to it. The option to attach these files is located on the left end of the prompt bar.

Another important aspect of the tool is the customization option.

The customization option allows you to customize how you want ChatGPT to respond to your prompt. You can specify its style, tone, and more.

Other than familiarizing yourself with ChatGPT’s interface, familiarizing yourself with how it responds and how to get it to generate the right answer is the key to generating good content using this tool.

2. Choose a language

Our next step is to choose a language we want to generate the content in.

Go ahead and decide which language you need to generate the content in. Our next step involves customizing the tool according to that language.

3. Customize ChatGPT

Customizing ChatGPT allows us to specify how we want the tool to generate its responses.

Customizing ChatGPT is not necessary, but it can be useful in keeping the tool’s responses consistent and to the point.

To customize ChatGPT, simply click on your profile and choose the Customize ChatGPT option.

There, you can give ChatGPT custom instructions and tailor its responses according to your needs.

You can instruct the tool to write in a specific language, or write in a specific style.

After customizing, don’t forget to toggle on the Enable for new chats button in the bottom-left corner.

4. Write & specify your prompt

Next, you need to write a prompt for your content.

There’s a way of writing ChatGPT prompts; Avoid vague and nonspecific prompts, such as “Write me an essay on technology.”

A well crafted ChatGPT prompt is the one that explicitly describes your specific need and gives detailed instructions and context of your work to the tool.

Here are some tips to writing good prompts:

  • Give ChatGPT an overview of your work: Describe what you do and how you do it. For example: “I write informational blog posts for ParaphraseTool.ai, a paraphrasing tool that allows people to paraphrase their text quickly in different styles such as formal and fluent.” Keep the overview as descriptive as possible.

  • Specify your content: Essentially, you should specify what you want the tool to generate. Is it a blog post? An email? Or an ad script?

  • Specify the style: You can specify the style of your content using the customization option. However, if you have not done that, or if you don’t want to do that, you can specify the style of your content in the prompt.

  • Describe your goal: Lastly, you want ChatGPT to understand what you are trying to achieve with your content so that it can generate the content accordingly. Do you aim to engage users? Or pursue them to make a purchase? Or convince them of an idea? Give the tool as many details of your goal as possible.

5. Humanize

Humanizing means making something natural and less robotic.

To avoid robotic responses from ChatGPT, and make it write like a human, we need to humanize our prompt so that the tool responds accordingly.

For instance, you can ask the tool to mimic human emotions and write a humorous story in the content. Moreover, ChatGPT can also crack jokes and relate stories.

6. Generate results

After writing your prompt, it’s time to generate the result.

Press the Enter button and let the tool generate the response.

7. Check the output

After ChatGPT responds to your prompt, carefully read and check its output.

Make sure the output is according to your needs and sounds human-written.

If you want any part of the content edited, ask the tool to do it. Simply, mention the specific part you want to edit and prompt ChatGPT with the changes you would like.

Once you are satisfied with the output, copy it to a text editor like a notepad, or MS Word, or Google Docs.

8. Test & Repeat

It may take several or many prompts for ChatGPT to write the content you need. The tool can also make mistakes, so keep an eye on them.

I encourage you to test different prompts with the tool and see what works best for you. Describe different scenarios to the tool and try to prompt it differently.

ChatGPT also offers customized ChatGPT’s for specific needs such as for writing and for math.

9. Fact-check and edit

ChatGPT is prone to making mistakes. It can produce false information about people, things and facts, so you need to fact-check the information and edit it.

Fact-checking is essential for maintaining credibility, authenticity, and your business’ reputation.

It is also a good practice to humanize the content and maintain its quality.

10. Further humanize

Once you are satisfied with the output, copy it to a text editor like a notepad, MS Word, or Google Docs, and work to humanize the content.

Humanizing can involve using emotional language, sharing past experiences or an anecdote to make the content relatable.

Humanizing is all about giving a human touch to your content—and making it feel less robotic. It can help your audience feel better about your content when they realize that the content is well-written or edited by a human being, and not just any machine.

If you struggle to humanize, an AI humanizer tool can help.

Conclusion

In conclusion, ChatGPT is an excellent tool for generating human-like content in different languages without much effort. To do so, prompt the tool to write in a specific language. Specify your prompt for better results and as the tool to give the content an emotional touch. After generating the results, fact-check and edit the prompt to minimize errors and manually humanize the content to ensure it’s relatable to human readers or use an AI humanizer.
