How to Create Content with ChatGPT and Humanize it Using AI Humanizer

Generative AI has taken the world by storm.

Though many favor AI content, some people are against it.

However, according to SEMRush’s survey on AI, generative AI has helped around 67% of some 2600 global businesses improve their content.

The survey also concludes that the majority of consumers tend to prefer AI-generated content to human-written content.

What it means for us as writers is that AI is here to stay and can help increase our productivity.

However, using AI tools like ChatGPT to create good content is not everyone’s cup of tea. Moreover, humanizing the AI content is also vital to ensure you’re not spamming literal AI content online.

So, how do we create content using ChatGPT? And how do we humanize it?

Let’s dive into it.

Steps for Creating Content Using ChatGPT

1. Decide on which ChatGPT model to use

For generative text, ChatGPT has 2 versions:

The version 4 is said to be capable of understanding the context of each prompt with added nuances and generating more specific and intelligent responses. It is also speedier, up-to-date, and has more features compared to ChatGPT 3.

So, while ChatGPT’s 4 performs better than ChatGPT 3, the free version is still a solid option for generating text.

In our case, we will be using version 3, so that our guide remains accessible to all users, whether free or paid.

That said, here are steps to creating content from ChatGPT.

2. Define your content’s objective

The first thing you want to do before throwing prompts at ChatGPT is to define your objective.

Ask yourself, what is it that you’re trying to do? Are you trying to write a blog post to inform users? A social media post to spread awareness about something? A marketing email to market a product? Or, an e-commerce listing to persuade potential customers?

Based on your goal, you will be able to specify your content’s style and objective to ChatGPT. For example, if you need a marketing email, you might want to keep the content short yet intriguing with the goal of luring users to open the emails.

Another example is if you are writing an e-commerce listing, you might want to make the content persuasive by emphasizing the product’s benefits with the objective of making them buy the product.

Your content’s objectives will be useful when writing the prompt and customizing ChatGPT’s responses.

3. Customize ChatGPT’s responses

ChatGPT gives you the option to customize its responses.

Custom responses from the AI tool give you additional control over how you want the AI tool to respond; It can help you tailor your content’s voice, tone, and style. For example, you can customize ChatGPT for generating funny responses.

Furthermore, here’s how customizing ChatGPT helps:

  • You get customized answers

  • It saves you from specifying your preferred style and tone in every prompt

  • It saves time when you have to generate tons of content

  • You can instruct ChatGPT to avoid certain writing style

Here’s how to customize ChatGPT:

  • Login to ChatGPT and tap on your profile in the bottom left corner

  • Tap Customize ChatGPT

  • Follow the given instructions to customize the tool to your liking

  • Toggle on the Enable for new chats button and click Save.

Though customizing ChatGPT may not always make a notable difference in its responses, it does help alter the overall responses.

However, if you need ChatGPT to respond differently each time, you may leave the customization step, which leads us to our next step:

4. Write your prompt

Writing a good prompt is one of the essential steps to developing good content using ChatGPT.

Your ChatGPT prompt will define how well ChatGPT understands and executes your request to generate the desired piece of text.

That’s why your prompt needs to be well-crafted and thought-out so that there’s no room for misinterpretation.

Follow these steps to write a good prompt:

i. Contextualize the prompt

Begin your ChatGPT prompt by describing the context of your work to the AI tool.

For example, suppose you work as a content writer for a blog site that gives parenting tips, you can contextualize your prompt as following:

  • “I write content for a blog site named [site name] that provides parents with valuable parenting tips. We specialize in topics that address issues of kids developing bad habits, such as lying. We aim to educate parents to help their children develop good habits via blog posts.”

The prompt might seem a bit too long, but ChatGPT can understand even longer and more complex prompts easily.

Contextualizing the prompts also helps the AI tool understand your objectives better, which allows it to generate more specific and nuanced content.

ii. Specify your content’s type and the topic

Our next step is to specify the type of content and its topic we want ChatGPT to generate.

For example, let’s continue the parenting tips prompt we discussed above, and specify our content type in it.

  • “I write content for a blog site named [site name] that provides parents with valuable parenting tips. We specialize in topics that address issues of kids developing bad habits, such as lying. We aim to educate parents to help their children develop good habits via blog posts.

So, I want you to write a short blog post on how to prevent children from lying.”

This clarifies our content’s type (a blog post) and the topic.

iii. Specify your content’s objective

Next in our prompt, you need to specify the objective of our content to the tool.

For example, continuing our prompt, we can clarify our content’s objective the following way:

  • “I write content for a blog site named [site name] that provides parents with valuable parenting tips. We specialize in topics that address issues of kids developing bad habits, such as lying. We aim to educate parents to help their children develop good habits via blog posts.

So, I want you to write a short blog post on how to prevent children from lying.

The goal of this blog post is to provide parents with practical tips to stop kids from falling prey to the habit of lying. It should help them understand how to prevent children from lying and how to deal with them if they’re already caught up in this habit.”

This clarifies our objective. Now the tool will understand our exact goal and generate a tailored response.

iv. Specify your content’s style

Lastly, we want to specify our content’s style to the AI tool.

In our case, I want my content to be as simple as possible.

  • “I write content for a blog site named [site name] that provides parents with valuable parenting tips. We specialize in topics that address the issue of kids developing bad habits such as lying. We aim to educate parents, specifically in the U.S, to help their children develop good habits via blog posts.

So, I want you to write a short blog post on how to prevent children from lying.

The goal of this blog post is to provide parents with practical tips to stop kids from falling prey to the habit of lying. It should help them understand how to prevent children from lying and how to deal with them if they’re already caught up in this habit.

Moreover, I want you to keep the blog post as simple as possible, with easy wording and simple sentences.”

This was the last step in writing our prompt.

If you are unsure whether your prompt is clear or not, you can rewrite it for clarity using our ParaphraseTool.ai.

Now let’s move to the next step.

5. Generate a response

After writing a satisfactory prompt, it’s time to use it. Go on and enter the prompt in ChatGPT, then hit enter to generate a response.

Here’s ChatGPT’s response to my prompt:

The word count of this piece was only 273, because I had specified the post’s length to be short in the prompt. If you need a lengthier post, go ahead and specify it in the prompt.

The language of the article is also pretty simple, as asked in the prompt.

6. Review and edit

The next thing you want to do is review the whole article and edit it manually to make the necessary changes. To do so, copy the article by clicking the small copy button at the bottom of the text and paste it in a notepad or any editing software.

If you want to rewrite the content, but writing isn’t your forte, our Paraphrase Tool can help get this job done quickly.

Humanize ChatGPT Content using an AI Humanizer

An essential aspect in using AI content is humanizing it prior to using it to avoid spamming AI content online.

AI spam is unfair and unfavorable in the eyes of Google. That’s why you need to humanize it to avoid getting an unwelcoming response from the search engine.

You can humanize an article manually. However, in our case, I will humanize the ChatGPT content using  paraphrasetool’s AI humanizer.

But first, let’s see if ChatGPT’s content is considered AI-written or not by an AI detection tool. Here, I used GPTZero to check the content:

As you can see, GPTZero detected the ChatGPT content as AI written.

Now, let’s humanize this same content using ParaphraseTool’s AI humanizer to remove this AI detection.

After humanizing, let’s check if our content is still detected as AI-written by GPTZero or not.

As you can see, ParaphraseTool reduced the AI detection of the content by humanizing it.

Now, our content is ready to be published online.

Conclusion

In this article, we discussed how to create content using ChatGPT and humanize it using an AI humanizer.

The article highlights practical ways to create the right prompt for ChatGPT to generate user-specific content.
